Why ICO?
The clinical education you receive at ICO is by far the most challenging just based on the diverse patient population the IEI sees. We also have state of the art facilities that enhance the learning experience. Plus it’s in Chicago, which is a diverse city in itself with great sports teams and restaurants to choose from.
Biography
Upon completing his bachelor’s degree at the University of California Riverside, Dr. Tan received his optometric and residency training at ICO, where he has been a part-time faculty member since 1999. After completion of his residency training Dr. Tan has worked in a number of different environments including corporate based optometry and private practice. In 2012 Dr. Tan took over Compass Eyecare, a private practice, where he continues to see patients. Dr. Tan is a Member of the American Academy of Optometry and the Illinois Optometric Association.
