Why ICO?
Biography
After earning her bachelor's degree at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Dr. Govekar received her Doctor of Optometry degree with honors from the Illinois College of Optometry. She continued her education at ICO, completing a residency in pediatric optometry and binocular vision. Following her residency at ICO, Dr. Govekar joined a ophthalmology practice in Denver, CO. She rejoined ICO as clinical faculty in the Pediatric Department in 2014. Dr. Govekar also sees patients in the private sector with an ophthalmology group in the western suburbs.
