Why ICO?

ICO is not only the most established optometry school, but offers the best clinical experience. This is the reason why I chose ICO for optometry school as well as completed my residency here. Although I have my own practice now, I continue to practice at ICO part time due to the diverse patient experience I get here.

Biography

Dr. Asano earned her optometry degree from Illinois College of Optometry in 2006. She completed her residency in primary care and ocular disease from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2007. She has been a part time faculty member at ICO since 2007 and has held a variety of positions in different modes of practice in Chicago while in search of the perfect mode of practice. Ultimately, she opened her own practice in 2016, Eyes on Fulton, in the Fulton Market district in Chicago.
