Why ICO?

The dedication ICO's faculty has to their student's professional and academic success, as well as personal well being, made it an institutional environment I was eager to be a part of and further grow as an educator.

Biography

Having moved out of the northwest suburbs to attend Michigan State University as an undergraduate, I returned to Chicago as a graduate student at Rush University. I received a master’s degree in anatomy and a PhD in biomedical sciences from Rush University’s Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology with the intention of remaining in academia to pursue teaching. Following completion of my PhD, I held several instructor and visiting professor positions in both undergraduate and graduate programs, but I am thrilled to now be at ICO as an anatomist and Assistant Professor of Biological Sciences.
