Biography
Dr. McMahon graduated from SCO in 1998, completed a primary care residency at ICO in 1999, and began full time employment as an ICO faculty member immediately afterward. She has been involved in multiple services and areas of practice, with her current emphasis on primary care and ocular disease. She spent several years as part of a community clinic externship site and also several years in the pediatric outreach program. Dr. McMahon has been a didactic and laboratory instructor in the areas of clinical skills, ocular emergencies, ophthalmic optics, and injections. Among her other professional responsibilities, she has been an AOA committee chair/member as well as chair/member of the Illinois optometry board.
